The major objectives of the Banophul are given below;
- To provide different skill development training for the women.
- Small Group Formation involving landless people of the community and imparting training about leadership and group management to establish their ownership on khas land.
- To ensure empowerment of the women and gender development through orientation program.
- To strengthening the local government to ensure the public facilities through local people’s participation.
- To promote good governance
- To ensure sustainable environmental management
- Preparing the community to combat and reduce their vulnerability against climate change.
- To provide better health care facilities for women and children of Bangladesh.
- Counseling and service delivery services for adopting modern Family Planning methods and contraceptives. Medical backup services also provided among the people for loading healthy family life through static and satellite clinics.
- To increase the skill of the target population by arranging various Vocational Training like, Handicrafts, small cottage Industries, Poultry, goat raring and cow fattening.
- To improve the socio-economic condition of the target population by providing training and distribution of Revolving Loan for self- entrepreneurship cottage industries.
- To Eradicate of illiteracy from the society by providing education, Non-formal Education, Adolescent Education and Adult Education.
- To provide knowledge to improve family health & nutrition, sanitation, environmental pollution, and also legal aids supports, duties, rights and obligation of citizens.
- To improve the network with Government, Autonomous body and other NGOs with a view to improve efficient coordination for development.
